Colin Kaepernick And Russell Wilson ‘Bet’ Eyebrows On Game In ‘Madden’ Commercial

The two quarterbacks, who face off in the Sunday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, put an eyebrow on the line in a bit of smack talk. (Note Kaepernicks smooth hope you dont like your eyebrow delivery. Almost as read more cool as his If intimidation is your game plan, I hope you have a better one on Sunday.) Oh, if only they really meant. it. Or, better yet, if only their coaches, Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh, would bet an eyebrow.

San Francisco 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick, Seattle Seahawks’ Russell Wilson poised for enduring quarterback rivalry

Who? Daniels was the 49ers No. 237 pick in the 2013 draft. He has been impersonating Wilson on San Franciscos scout team because hes similar in stature (5-foot-11, 217 pounds) and speed. I got a lot more reps than I usually get this week, Daniels told It was an opportunity for me to practice against one of the great defenses.

“But you see these young quarterbacks — the talent, the leadership and the maturity that they have — and I think it’s exciting for football.” Sunday marks just the second installment of what should be a long-running series. Kaepernick is 25. Wilson is 24. Combined, they have a mere 25 career regular-season starts. Even St. Louis Rams youngster Sam Bradford has 43 all by himself. But their early flashes of potential have raised eyebrows (and perhaps razed an eyebrow. More on that later).

Seattle Seahawks: The Russell Wilson-Colin Kapernick Lovefest Must End Now

It was more of just a friendly, joking around type deal, Wilson said, via PFT . It’s not real serious. We’ll probably do something digitally. Something like that. Well, that’s not what was said in the video and transcript below in an ad for Madden 25. Kap: “Big game on Sunday.” Wilson: “Yup. You know what we should do?

He did not participate in any of the practices this week. If McDaniels cant play, Brandon Mebanes backup at right defensive tackle DAnthony Smith is the likely candidate to replace him. Even though Mebane is also on the injury list, theres a good chance hell be able to play. He did not practice on Wednesday but was able to practice in limited amounts Thursday and fully participated on Friday. he is listed as probable. Chris Clemons was limited in practice on Wednesday but was able to fully participate both Thursday and Friday. He is listed as questionable. If Clemons cannot play, his backup, Cliff Avril (hamstring) would be next in line. Just like Clemons, Avril was limited on Wednesday but practiced his full amount Thursday and Friday.

Anyway, I just saw that EA is releasing a campaign heading into this weekend’s much-anticipated Seahawk-49er game in Seattle. Apparently, according to the Wilson-Kaepernick commercial, the loser of Sunday’s nationally televised game must shave one eyebrow . Funny. Cute. Garnered a chuckle. But shouldn’t that stuff be reserved for mayors come playoff time?

How short rookie QB Russell Wilson reached new heights

“He used to always wake me up early in the morning, and he’d have me throwing speed outs at age 10, 11,” Wilson says. “He helped build that determination in me.” Wilson’s father suffered from complications from diabetes for years and died at 55 on June 9, 2010, the day after Russell was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball draft. Wilson, then a football and baseball player at North Carolina State, was at his father’s side as he was dying, telling him he’d been drafted. (Wilson went on to play two years of minor league baseball but eventually decided to focus on football and transferred for a final year of football to Wisconsin, which he led to last year’s Rose Bowl.) “My husband was pretty out of it, but certain things you could tell him and you could see tears come down his eyes,” says Wilson’s mother, Tammy, a legal nurse consultant. “(Russell) didn’t freak out. He was resolved.
